Brandy and Monica are busy on the promo trail in support of their reunion duet “It All Belongs To Me.” Today, they stopped by Power 105.1 to chat with New York City’s #1 rated  morning show crew, The Breakfast Club for an interview. Of course, Angela Yee, Charlamagne & DJ Envy didn’t hold back. Check out the first part below, in which the ladies discuss their former misguided disgust with each other, Monica’s “hood side”, and their love for Whitney Houston.

Part two after the jump:

This was a great interview. I’m glad that as these ladies have grown older, they’ve come into their own, and provide a positive example for the young women who are inspired by their work.

Sidenote: Monica released the tracklisting and cover art for her project, New Life, which will be in stores next month. Beside the collaboration with Brandy, there are no other featured artists on the standard version of the album. You will, however, get a chance to hear production from Rico Love, Brian-Michael Cox + more. Check it out in full at Urban Bridgez.
