This Sunday, Adele will make her triumphant return to the stage at the GRAMMY Awards in LA. She’s heavily favored to win in a variety of categories, as her latest album 21 has been setting sales records all around the world. She’s still perched atop the Billboard 200, 50 weeks after the album was released.
But the road hasn’t been easy. Much to fans dismay, the British soul singer was forced to cancel the full American leg of her most recent tour, due to hemorrhaging on her vocal chords. She had surgery last November, and has fought her way through recovery. On Sunday night, before the GRAMMY’s she’ll talk with 60 Minutes about the process to regaining her health, and her skyrocketing success.
