Allow me to introduce JMSN (pronounced Jameson) to those of you may be unfamiliar. I got exposed to this new artist via DJ Lissa Monet (thanks ma’am) and have been enjoying my journey through his recently released project †Priscilla†. “Something” is a song about facing the issues that we often try to run from; the things that each of us try to fight (or stifle) on a daily basis. We fill voids with things that aren’t doing anything but soothing the symptoms without curing the sickness.  Even the best of us have problems that we have to resolve before truly achieving our highest greatness. This video tells the story of the cycle we go through to get there.  You can watch below, but be forewarned. This video is a trip. If you’re not ready to really think outside the box, don’t even worry about playing it. You’ll be upset if you do:

If you’re confused right now, it’s okay. JMSN was kind enough to provide us with a breakdown of all of the symbolism he used. It’s kinda deep, but it all makes sense.

If you liked the track, check out the rest of the album on Spotify, or purchase it on iTunes. My favorite tracks? “Jameson”, “Do You Remember The Time” and “Girl (I Used To Know)” Get into it, and let me know what you think.
