I love bringing readers new artists! Today it’s my pleasure to introduce you to Deon Robertson.

Born May 8th, 1986 in Oklahoma City, OK, Deon knew from an early age that he wanted to become a singer. He gained experience as he travelled throughout the nation with his family’s group, The Fantastic GoldenAires. At the age of three, Deon could be heard singing with his family at rehearsals and various events. By the age of thirteen, Deon began to sing backup for numerous artists that came to the area.

In 2004, after seeing success with the singles “Wonderful” & “You Can’t Mess With Me Satan”, Deon released his self-titled debut album. Since, Deon has become a spokesperson for the National Anti-Smoking Campaign, took part in a Hurricane Katrina assistance showcase, and participated in NBC’s hit show “Clash of the Choirs”. He’s currently signed with Assurance Ministries, and W.M. Music Incorporated. In addition to his solo work, he serves as a back up singer for former American Idol contestant George Huff.
